If you have an opinion on how culture should, could or must be used in EU’s external relations, now’s the chance to be heard!
The Preparatory Action on the role of culture in EU external relations gathers in the 7th and 8th of April some of the most influential politicians and know-how heavy professionals on the field from the whole world to an open conference at the BOZAR’s beautiful Horta Hall. We would very much like to invite you to contribute to the discussions.
The outcomes of the Preparatory Action will be presented on the first day and discussions will take place in three panels the next day, focusing, amongst other topics, on the expectations and realities of culture in the EU’s external relations, the potential added value of a strategic approach to cultural cooperation and exchanges, including implementing tools. For this final conference, the Commissioner for Education & Culture, Androulla Vassiliou, and the Executive Secretary General of the EEAS M. Pierre Vimont, and MEP and initiator of New Narrative for Europe Morten Løkkegaard will give the opening speech.
Please confirm your participation via email to Bozar.ArtPol01@bozar.be, before the 30th of March.
It is an open conference, however with limited seats, therefore registration is required.
We look forward seeing you in Brussels!
